Though this event was successful, the hours after that was overshadowed by tragedy as a 1979 Ford Probe I Ghia Concept vehicle was destroyed in a fire while being transported inside a trailer back home.

Nothing worse than seeing beautiful old cars have all their history stripped out of them. Also for a car show full of wonderful vehicles, there was very little footage of them and a hell of a lot talking.

According to the federal HESCHLAVVO law, it will soon be forbidden in Switzerland to drive combustion engines on mountain passes from 2025. In France, the SCHLABOUBVE regulates that fossil vehicles that produce fine dust are prohibited in all cities from 2025. The BABVVO in Germany will bann exhaust gas pollution from 2027 and that is what will happen in entire EU also bann of all tires and brakes because of fine dust!!

Very cool car but most elegant? Very anticlimactic. I bet there are so many ticked off collectors who spent a huge amounts of money making their cars perfect.

I live on Long Island NY. I remember first time that I saw the Chrysler Townncar. It was just a couple of months beyond its complete restoration from White Post restorers from NJ. I was amazed Chrysler produced a Towncar ( I later learned it was a one-off ) The commentor is right, the interior is opulent !!!

Please replace these Bass Mouth Brits with some decent American presenters they are so tiresome. While you’re at it dump the sleepy time string band & fork out a couple bucks for a decent music director - the cars and your audience will be so appreciative.😊

Terrific content. Serious thought should be given to incorporating American Muscle Cars in this venue. I feel it's their time to be recognized.

Great live stream, definite improvement over the last few years, without the announcers dominating the stream. Whoever tied up Justin Bell and his friend in the back room to stop their constant self-serving blathering across the whole stream deserves a medal. No commercials this year either, what a great job. Very surprising winner too! Can't wait for 2025. Hopefully next year will be in 4K.

Like the winning car, no doubt. Remember, the original draw to the area where the races. Amazing to think, the best of show owners almost left and were unavailable due to poor advice. This event has definitely changed. The mid-80s had a different feel and seemed somewhat less rushed. - Last note; The British are really good at milking American cows. Everything feels somewhat sub-contracted. Whoever walks away with the money, wins!

I'm happy to see a preservation car win best of show at @pebblebeachconcours ! Cars like this tell their story through their scars. A $500,000 perfect restoration just erases history like plastic surgery.

The best of show to me is 2:01:17 1938 Duesenberg J Rollston Victoria Coupe.

Are they really tooting their horns about raising 3 million for charity? That's couch cushion money for the 1%. If the rich were truly generous, there would be no poverty, no hunger, and no homeless camps. Charity is just another tax shelter, let's not kid ourselves.

The guy who is doing the "fake out" before sending cars up to the podium is a clown. This is a classy event, right? Maybe find someone who doesn't treat the Pebble Beach Concours like a hokey game show.
